Made a start on this one.
This is my first 1/350 scale model, being relatively simple, I thought it would be an ideal kit to get a feel for the scale

I've shortened the rear of the hull, as per instructions. From the third build ship the hull was altered to improve the characteristics.

Rear fins added and restored some details with stretched sprue.
Filled all round, will need to sand this later very carefully

The drive shafts in the kit do not resemble the real, so I've started to build my own

HMS Tonijn is currently on display at the excellent Dutch Navy museum in Den Helder.
The museum is well worth a visit, one day is not nearly enough to see everything on display.
