Assembling of the major subelemts is well on the way. I left some superstructure removable to "ease up" the painting process later (if one call painting a 700th ship "easy"...)

The building of Flyhawks 1/700 scale HMS Campbeltwon, the (in-)famous destroyer converted to a sort of "Explosive Maritime Trojan Horse" for a raid on the docking facilities at St. Nazaire in 1942.
The kit includes Photoetch and parts and is very nicely detailed. Hopefully I get everything assembled properly and painted up to suit....
