Daughter Project - A-10 Warthog
1
February 9, 2018My daughter didn't feel she had the patience yet for a paint and glue kit, and went back to a snap kit. Surprised she chose the Warthog over other kits that were available.2
February 9, 2018I had lost some faith in Revell kits after building the Black Widow, but this started going together fairly well with only minor seam issues.3
February 9, 2018The wings were a bit of another story. The gaps were a little larger, but to my nine-year-old they were just fine as is. It's her kit and she has built it her way.4
February 9, 2018The ordance snapped rather easily into the wings and the assembly is nearly complete.5
February 9, 2018She thought it would look better with a coat of paint so we masked off the cockpit and sprayed it down with a can of Tamiya TS-17. She really likes the end result.6
February 10, 2018My daughter thought there were way too many stickers left over after following the directions. So she found them each a home.7
February 10, 2018For such a simple kit, it still looks pretty mean coming right at you. Now my daughter will want to take another trip to the hobby shop, or maybe tackle that paint and glue kit she has left in progress in the basement.
