Since I am working on an Revell kit of a Bf109E-4, I could not hesitate to compare this two kits. The details of the Eduard kit are richer and the parts are amazingly accurate. In comparison to the Revell kit, I hadn´t to "adjust" parts to fit. This really deserves the title "Weekend Edition" since it´s a very, very, smooth build until now. I´m very excited about my other Eduard kits now.

Beautiful paint job! 🙂 I would join in earlier on this project if I came across it. Count me in aswell for the final steps 👍

Delay because of idiocy of Modeler. 🙁 While brushing the yellow nose, I wasn´t careful enough and sprinkled the wings also yellow. Had to redo the camopainting. Rats! Note to myself: Next time, mask even more of the model!

Thanks mates! Hope to get the glossy varnish done soon, to continue with the decals. Maybe I´ll try my washes on this one...

Glossy varnish and decals applied. Now for the matte varnish as last coat.

Nice save. Doesn't seem like your problem left any traces behind 👍 And finally someone who doesn't censore the swastikas (what's up with that anyway?) lol 😄

Thank you Vegard, was quite a piece of work, but yes, I finally made it. 🙂
For the swastikas, in germany, it´s forbidden by the law to show them in public (few exceptions apply, but not on modelling). So, when posting pictures in a german forum, you have to censor them. Eduard censors them on the box, too, but the decals are included (but they are cut in two halfs so you can´t identify them on the decalsheet. You have to put the together on the model).

A very experienced mate told me that the Eduard's 109 are the best. And your build is very fine, according to its fame. Congrats!
