Thanks. Tried a new product for panel lines, Deluxe or Ultimate (I think) washes and it stays on for about 30 minutes to dry before wiping off with water (Acrylic obviously). I therefore went with a light OD (and thinking Asian Theatre of operations would be fairly sun bleached) knowing it would darken. That was the result. More luck than design.
Glad you like it, think I'm off Mustangs for a while (3 in a row).

Album info
Ongoing Mustang Family, this being my last of the Allison Engined variants. Completed as an American bird, as a point of difference to th previous RAF birds. This one having just the twin 50 cals in each wing. UK Mk2 apparently don't carry drop tanks so that was also point of difference in the collection. Finished a fictional, combined aircraft for 23 FG, the follow on unit to the AVG flying tigers and a tie in to a P-40 and eventually an A-10 in the same heritage. Warped the kit with hair dryer so some fixing, and gaps around canopy. Note to self, don't rush it soooooo much
