Thanks, great kit, its been a holiday project. That's a week worth (4 hours/day). Pity cant see much of it.

Looks great! I'd love to get one of these big 1:16th scale tanks someday.

Thanks, i have previously built their T-34 as well and whilst the interior is largely invisible it was worth it just as a learning experience on how the actual tank worked. Yesterday for example had a pleasant discussion about ammo stowage, purpose of blowers etc, so I feel you get a lot for your money with these kits. Having said that I chose this and the T-34 as they are a lot more affordable than some of the larger kits in this scale. Real pity that their recent modern efforts, T-72 etc arent like these kits, good details with moderate price. Thanks for kind words.

Well, I`m excited how the finished model will look like. Will you place it as a stand-alone or in a dio?

Bastian, just contacted Jeff Shiu, he does a set of winter panzer riders that will go on it, i already have some S&T figures but the set Jeff does is just gorgeous, but it wont be on a dio base just on my shelf, i cant afford the space required and dio's arent my thing. Thanks James, found quite a few colour mistakes. After the fact, but living with them.

funny what you call "Only basic weathering" in picture 26!, it is better than what most people can do... and you call it basic! 🙂
excellent job so far. it looks amazing. pity if most of it will never be seen again.....

I'm intimidate now by the quantity of figures, and face painting isn't my strong suite.
Thanks

There are alot of nice guides and inspiration for facepainting out in the wargaming community and sites like coolminiornot.

David. He has a panther in Normandy set as well. Great guy. He custom made an arm for me as this set wasn't for Trumpeters kit so arm didn't sit properly into hatch. A real gentleman
