Brush strokes are quite noticeable because of the flash. 

Testing the colour fot the wheel hubs 

In the end I went for Metalcote satin bronze ,,,, the tin mast be more than 25 years old and the paint is still in good condition. Well done Humbrol. 

Polished wiht a soft cloth ,,, et voilà ..... 

Testing the body colour ,,, I decided to go for Gunze H417 

 

Weathering the tyres. 

 

 

 

I jut lost the handbrake lever ... so I had to scratch a new one ...  

... with stretched sprue and lead foil from a wine bottle ... wich was previously drank ... 😉
 

Some ejection pin marks to be dealed 

 

I also lost the right part like this ..... it seems that I'm bound to lose parts ... BRRRRRRR 

So I had to make a new one from plastic sheet and rod  

After several coats of semi-gloss RLM76 ,,,, it turned out not that bad ,,, don't you think ? I also scrtach-build the rear lights. The kit parts have been used in the Mehari project. 

Assembling body parts 

More .... on the right side you can see which part is missing. 

Brake lines for the rear wheels were added  

Also added brake line supports from a wine bottle foil ...... not the same as I used for the hand-brake handle .... 😉 

Making test to get the coke colour , Gunze 5 parts smoke , 0,5 parts clear green 0,1 clear red
