Stabilisers cut off and filled , I've also redefined the splash guard and cockpit glass. 

New stabilisers cut from evergreen  

And glued to the hull 

Rear rudders installed  

Snorkel in progress  

Nose added  

Steering actuators added from stretched sprue  

 

This is now ready for paint  

 

 

 

Basecoated with ye olde humbrol.
I hope it will dry ok, the jar must be at least 20 years old, maybe older.  

More paint smeared on 

After much trial and error I finally managed to get the red and white stripes on the canopy.  

 

A few touch ups needed, and some mild weathering, and this is done. 

 

Ready for fixing on the base  

 

 

 

 

All done.
Fixed the model to a simple oak base.
I'm not content with the outcome, so it has found a place in the back of the cabinet 🙂
