I did this one a while ago. The only issue I can recall is that fuel cap on the right side. Once that piece was put in place, I couldn't get the rear off. Other than that, it seems it went together pretty easily. There is this piece that goes above the windscreen that I didn't see the purpose to. You can see the seam of it with my poor putty/sanding skills.

Thanks for the info. And regarding the visible seam: Only a 917 insider and you of course will notice. I had few conversations with friends that went like: "It's is okay but I'm not satisfied with this part/spot etc." And the person I talk to asks: "Where/what do you mean? I don't see it." The builder always is the harshes critic 🙂
