Do you upload them to Scalemates from your phone or do you download them to a computer first and then upload them. It seems that it may be a setting in your phone if you upload them directly.

It happens both direct from phone or from computer (now the cloud) but there must be a way of rotating from within scalemates

Try this:
1. Go to your photo album.
2. Click the album's "Manage" link.
3. Enable "Advanced options".
4. For each photo you should see blue question mark orientation buttons. Click the upside-down one.
(FYI, I didn't even know how to do this before replying - it took only about 30 seconds of exploring the photo options within an album to learn how to rotate Scalemates images.)
You can also rotate images on an iPhone by selecting the "Edit" link when viewing an image in Photos and then select the rotate tool in the bottom toolbar, rotate to any angle you want (supports 2-degree increments), then select "Done".

Once your pictures are on your computer you can rotate, crop, insert text, have multiple shots in one frame, and modify them on canva.com for free.

You can rotate and crop for free right on the iPhone in the iOS Photos app. (There are also image enhancement and color filter tools.) Also for free on Scalemates under photo album management is rotation of images.

Thanks Mike, I am illiterate when it comes to computer apps and things. Thank you for taking the time.
