Bugatti EB 110 Dress-up (Job Log) Voir: Diaporama Mosaïque Liste 1 2 February 3, 2022
Redesign head lamp.
I decided on number 4.
3 February 3, 2022
1st. Build the wall.
4 February 3, 2022
Sketch again.
5 February 3, 2022
Check again.
OK. I will confirm with this design.
6 February 3, 2022
Precision drawing on the bodyshell
7 February 3, 2022
Head lamp's cover. (but moving is not my plan)
It just cover.
8 February 3, 2022
Put it on...
9 February 3, 2022
Build another wall.
10 February 3, 2022
and, Fill it with epoxy putty.
11 February 3, 2022
This is winker (or Fog lamp)
Perforate and Cut off.
12 February 3, 2022
The inner wall should not be thick, so I will use 0.3mm pla plate.
13 14 February 3, 2022
but, wrong angle.
15 February 3, 2022
Hm... I decided to redo, so removed it.
and, I filled in the arrow area because there was a hole.
16 February 3, 2022
First, surveying height of under nose part.
17 February 3, 2022
Build the support parts.
18 February 3, 2022
And, build a inner wall from the outside.
19 February 3, 2022
Than, cut off and clean up.
20 February 3, 2022
Parting line was too thick.
I couldn't even sand or scrape, so I had to cut it with a chisel.
21 February 3, 2022
Sanding done. (It took about 1 hours)
22 February 3, 2022
The wings also contracted so much that I had to sand hard.
And when I put it on the body, there was a lot of space, so I cut off the 'wing tip' of both ends , sanded it, and made a pla-plate and attached it
23 February 3, 2022
Then trim the wing tip.
24 February 3, 2022
The shrinkage is so severe that it is sanded after coating with an instant adhesive.
25 February 3, 2022
Parts that didn't fit very well now fit well.
Marked arrow are not a good fit.
26 February 6, 2022
Using epoxy putty.
27 February 6, 2022
The front windshield fits well.
28 February 6, 2022
But, the rear windshield and cover don't feel good.
29 February 6, 2022
Hm... It still seems weird.
30 February 6, 2022
The rear windshield was bent, so I used hot water to fix it.
31 February 7, 2022
It was not molded properly.
32 February 7, 2022
Rather than filling and refining, I used it as a design element to create a shape.
33 February 7, 2022
There is no structure to hang on.
34 February 7, 2022
I made a chin.
35 36 February 8, 2022
Side vents are blocked.
37 February 8, 2022
Measure the depth
38 February 8, 2022
Cut and prepare a pla-plate of appropriate length.
39 February 8, 2022
After bonding Top and Bottom plate firmly, prepare a plastic plate that will become a curved surface.
40 February 8, 2022
Roll a round bar to make a smooth bend.
41 February 8, 2022
Glue, Sanding... Done.
42 February 10, 2022
It doesn't fit well, so you have to bend it and sand the inside of both ends.
43 February 10, 2022
Perfect.
44 February 10, 2022
But, there is an empty space in the marked area.
45 February 10, 2022
It was covered with a thin plate.
46 February 10, 2022
Drill and trim.
I perforated the upper row in one row to give it a more modern feel. - Actually I'm getting a little bored now ;P
It also corrects the wrong mold of the tail light part.
47 February 12, 2022
I glued the front bumper to the body and filled it with plastic putty.
48 February 12, 2022
And cleaned the surface.
I'll take it apart again after it hardens.
49 February 12, 2022
The arch part still didn't fit, so I putty the front fender part.
50 51 February 12, 2022
Rough sketch.
52 February 12, 2022
This is front splitter.
53 February 21, 2022
Separated again for next work.
54 February 21, 2022
I will drill a hole in the marked place.
55 February 21, 2022
It is simpler to cut with a knife from the inside than to drill a hole from the outside.
56 February 21, 2022
I had to paint the marked areas in glossy black, so I sanded the surface, but the shrinkage was too much.
57 February 21, 2022
Finally painted the surfacer.
58 February 21, 2022
I like my modified design ;P
59 February 21, 2022
I corrected it by applying putty so that the edges in the marked areas continued smoothly.
60 February 21, 2022
I made an outer cover for the fog lights. (fruit packaging container)
61 February 21, 2022
Fog light and winker lenses were made by machining the spare parts included in the tank kit.
62 February 21, 2022
The refraction was so severe that I sanded it and polished(Tamiya Compound) it.
63 February 21, 2022
But, the refraction of the inner surface was also severe, so there was little improvement.
64 February 21, 2022
There is no detail on the side window, so I made simply inner frame.
65 March 1, 2022
White surfacer (gloss).
66 March 1, 2022
I made 'French Blue'
67 March 1, 2022
Base coloring and clear coat.
68 March 1, 2022
My signature ;P
69 March 1, 2022
After painting Tamiya 'Ghost Gray', masking the engine room paint
70 March 1, 2022
The windshield requires masking on the inside and outside.
71 March 1, 2022
Carbon pattern to front splitter.
72 March 1, 2022
Remove masking tape.
73 March 1, 2022
Paintbrush with Vallejo.
74 March 1, 2022
Greedy leveling the surface, the paint on the edge corners was erased.
75 March 1, 2022
In any case, since the surface of the roof is not smooth and needs correction, it will have to be repainted.
76 March 1, 2022
Compounding done.
77 March 1, 2022
I used 'Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color'
78 March 1, 2022
All the coloring work is done and ready to assemble.
Now only the straight build remains.
79 80 81 82 83 84 March 1, 2022
Even though it was a new decal, it cracked when soaked in water.
85 March 1, 2022
There was a little floating part, so I fixed it with tongs.
86 March 1, 2022
I used two types of mesh.
87 March 1, 2022
Tail lamp / Side mirror
88 March 1, 2022
Inside done.
89 March 1, 2022
Outside done.

Album info Heller's EB110 has the wrong body proportions, and the headlamps and intakes in various places are omitted.
Above all, it is dissatisfying that the parts do not fit well due to the overall quality deterioration.
and, I plan to change the design of the headlamp to my liking.
