Thanks for the comments. The plane is now finished. It was a quick and rather easy build. The kit would have been brilliant if the kit accuracy had been better. But if you want something that is straight forward to build and «looks like a Spitfire» go ahead. I had a good time building it and learned a bit regarding Spitfires in Rhodesia on the way.

This is the 1/72 scale Special Hobby Spitfire F. The kit is a «High Tech» edition which means it comes with some resin and PE parts. According to several modelling forums the kit has several accuracy issues, but IMHO it looks to good not to be built ?
One major issue with the kit is that there are no instructions for the PE parts. Some of the parts are easily recognized, but there are several bits I have no clue about. If the kit fits as good as it looks this will be a fun build. As mentioned in the heading this will be the South Rhodesian version.
