Panzer 38 Weiterentwicklung mit Drehturm

This particular vehicle is a wonderful little oddity and thus is certainly worth building. Some call this a "turreted Hetzer" or the Panzer 38D, but judging from the reference I have (Spielbergers "Panzer 35(t)/38(t)") it is neither of those. Being conceived in 1944 by Krupp to keep the panzer 38 relevant as a combat tank, the chassis was redesigned with a sloped 50mm frontal plate and a Panzer IV-Turret in a simplified version was to be fitted.
Anyway, the hostory of this thing alone might be worth to write a blog article or something about the build... I will see what I can do 🙂
