The South African Armored Car (SAC) as it was known in British service was an armored car based on a Ford chassis fitted with a Marmon-Herrington 4-wheel-drive and an armored body housing a rotating turret armed with machineguns and/or anti-tank-rifles. As the vehicles saw intesive use in the North African campaign, some where even used by the opposing German and Italina forces and were (in Allied Service as well) sometimes modified with the turret swapped for AT guns or autocannons.
I will build the Attack 1/72 Marmon Herrington Mk.II ME with interior and other accessories as a vehicle scouting in a dry and rocky desert. British crew figures from White Stork will round out the display in a little vignette.
