I will not make use of Revell´s colours, but use Gunze, Tamiya, or others. I will try to keep close to their colour suggestions, but for sure will not go crazy here...

Since theses birds are quite new, too much weathering isn't appropriate. but you could use tons of sandy dust, if you like:
