March 2, 2024The headlight covers are B A D. But it's done.3
February 28, 2024Aah! Now it was my turn to screw up! I put these little elk head decals on the inside of the rear wing, missing the fact they belong on the front, below and to the side of each headlight. Dog gone it ; )4
February 22, 2024All covered up, nicely5
February 21, 2024Filled in and smoothed down, but now I get to touch up that little bit of paint.....always has to turn into a THING.6
February 21, 2024....and good enough to cover with a decal.7
February 19, 2024Oooh! Those Hasegawa bas..... got me again! That's okay, not beaten yet. Stuff some epoxyputty in the offending hole, smooth it off, cover it with a decal. That offending vent should be forward over the cabin.8
February 16, 2024Getting back to this, some 2 years later ( already?! ). I wound up hating the TS 12 orange and went to the airbrush ( yuck!) using Tamiya LP51 orange over an undercoat of LP8 pure yellow.9
April 5, 2022Cut off the protruding ducts and cap off with some sheet styrene.10

February 19, 2024"Partially different". That's an understatement. Rear brakes: wrong. Ducts on the top: wrong. Side vents infront of the exhaust: there ain't none! I'm certain the rear wing mounts are incorrect. No openings at front of sides. And I don't think the actual car had the diffuser under the butt end. Still better than Tamiyas slot car kit, I suppose.12
March 2, 2024Really pleased with the chrome on the wheels. When I airbrushed the Spazstick chrome on, it didnt look very good but set nicely.13
