Thunderstreak Dutch Airforce P-254

 

 

 

 

Does anyone know about a set of replacement wheels for the thunderstreak/ thunderflash? The ones in the kit aren't really good ?
I can't find any in 72nd scale 

 

The first steps are taken  

 

Fugelage halfs prepared  

Splitter/ wheelbay  

Nose packed with lead, and fixed to the fuselage  

Fuselage closed, and wings glued together.
The fit of the wings to the fugelage will need quite some work, as it is terrible... 

First wing attached, I used shims of plastic card to get it to fit as close as possible 

 

After filling and sanding it looks acceptable, but no more than that

Droptanks needed a bit of putty to get it right

Canopy masked and fitted with Matt varnish
