Thanks John, James and Neuling. I don't have the space , skill or time for dioramas so it's straight into the cabinet for this one. This was meant to be a quick build after enjoying the same Sherman kit as my last build but then found that the figure set that was in the stash was probably best suited for this version of the Sherman so it turned into a bit more. The figures are from SOGA miniatures, and are some of the best I have ever worked with, they had beautiful detail and nice sets of grenades, bayonets, water bottles and 2 types of entrencing tools as accesories. Its a very natural looking set, the Sherman just being the canvas to display the figures. Very pleased with the result, it has become one of my favourites now

Excellent job. Fantastic figures. It is screaming for a bit of terrain around it....just a few centimetres....😉
Worth trying a small vignette around it, if it does not work, tosh it to the rubbish and keep the tank and figures as it is....

What a set ! Maybe some ready made base plate ? It would just give the little extra something that will make everyone stop in their tracks and nod.
