Yes, I find the photography very frustrating, good camera and lens on tripod with remote camera shutter release and still get some blurry, I don't know what I do wrong. Thanks for feedback

Scott, problem pics are No. 15, 16 and 18. I think that No. 15 and 16 show that the object and/or the camera were moved in the moment of picture taking. In pic No. 18 the object seems slightly out of focus. Btw: I like your build.

Autofocus, I believe it's a depth of field issue, I use a Nikon DSLR with a 50mm lens, it's quite fast so in order to get max depth of field I go for aperture priority and set it to about 16, which give shutter speeds in order of 1/4 of second hence need for tripod and remote release. Model is in home made light booth. Seems I can't get entire model in depth of field for focus as it's too narrow and hence I use focus lock at about midpoint of model. Very frustrating, people here get beautiful shots

Strange because Some photos are impec. And others seem to be shacken??? And autoshutter shouldn't do that.

Yes, very disappointing, and it's IR remoten not cable so no chance of move, I will investigate more
