This is not my kind of scale... Waaaaay to small.
Mirage's kit is not quite good, small parts have not formed complete, and the plastic is very brittle. Got fed up with it for today, will have another go at it tomorrow.

I hope it goes well tomorrow. They can build up as good distractions. tapatalk.com/groups/..utcasts-t516177.html
Can you tell me, or the internet, more about the photos?

I think 1:350 is a nice scale for submarines, except for the smallest ones. Still, I think, if one is careful, one can make some very nice looking models, that also look very nice and meaningful when compared to modern subs that are rather large in size. 🙂
The AFV Club kit, iirc, has a lot of detailing on their Type VIIc sub kit. Their kit has so many parts I so to speak found myself scratching my head, as the kit includes a part of the pressurized compartment inside the outer hull.

Erik, I did an internet search for U107, and these turned up on google.I posted them here to use as reference for my model.
Treehugger, I have build a 1:144 type IIb uboot before this, and this to me is a lot easier. Problem with these boats is their size in larger scales. I do have another 1:350 in my stash, a revell type VII, which looks a lot better than this one. The details on the mirage kit are so so, and there are parts that have not fully formed in the molds. I will finish it though, even if it won't be the best 🙂

Btw, apparently Trumpeter now has a new release 1:144 Type VIIc kit.

Finally some paint done on this one 🙂
I lost the cable cutter, as I droped the model before airbrushing, it flew off, never to be found, so it will be finished without it.

I gave up on this one, after dropping it parts were damaged and went missing. It is now on the scrapheap of shame 🙂
