My brother gave me a re-bagged Tiger I kit that he had picked up on eBay - no decals, no instructions, no brand name.
Scrolling through the Scalemates database I decided it was one of the incarnations of Airfix's vintage kit and downloaded the instruction and painting leaflet - thanks, Scalemates!
Fumbling and dropping the tiny result quite a few times didn't help the fit much.
