This is my second Diorama after “Somewhere in Normandy August 1944”.
This is a well-known duo of kits and has certainly been built many times. The Diorama is primary build just for test and learn new technics like chipping, rust effects, create a desert scene and continue to practice at figure painting. This is the main reason that I use these older and cheaper kits, so If I destroy something, I lost not so much money for that.
I know that the diorama still has some weaknesses but overall I am satisfied with the result so far. Some small things like the antenna of the radio, headset and microphone wires, the ropes of the tent are scratch building. I am not satisfied with the result of the rust effects, so I need to try it again by another project. Therefore, I need much more practice in figure painting. Anyway, there was a lot of fun to build this little diorama and I continued to learn more and more about the different techniques and scale modeling.
