Felt like I got a bit more done today. Got the cockpit mostly built. 

Spent about four hours working on the seat/cockpit/canopy fit. Seems like the only thing I managed to accomplish was to get my blood pressure up. I may just say 'Fuck It' and superglue the canopy & windscreen on and paint over them later!! 

Mockup is looking a bit better. 

Pilot's office will not be perfect but then again I kinda am trying to polish a turd! 

Some reinforcement for the gear-up Landing Gear Doors. Didn't need it for the Main Landing Gear and got the styrene strips backwards for the Nose ones but that's OK! Fit on the Mains was OK but going to need some plastic strip on the Nose ones to look decent. 

Filled in the turtleback vents that were only used on the prototype birds and the slots that the piss-poor molded canopy was supposed to go into! 

Nearly finished making the ad hoc Engine Air Intakes. Still have to finish up shimming the forward fuselage. Was putting the drop tanks together and realized I only grabbed one complete tank when I raided the Minicraft kit! LOL Need to reinforce the area where the stand will go in also. 

OK, yeah been slackin' a bit but finally got some more supplies for this build. I will be using the '3.1mm' T-Rod to make some LEX Fences for this kit and the Hobby Boss kit. Still a little surprised the HB boxings are missing them!! Found a set of 9 different sizes on EBay for less than $4 US each with Tax and S&H!
