Picked up this kit while stationed in Germany with 1st Armored Division over 15 years ago. Our base had a small hobby shop which carried kits made by European model companies. Built it straight out of the box. Kit included a number of resin and copper photo-etch detail upgrades for the reactive armor and side skirts.

Looks really good, you made a beautiful looking tank out of this lowerish-end kit (comparing to Trumpeter)

Thanks for the props! As you put it, definitely a lower end kit, but not without some positives.
Pros: Price (Paid under $10 USD), good details (especially the attention given to the lower hull), good fit and ease of build, resin/photo-etch upgrades, rubber track that actually holds its paint (I usually don't give props to rubber track because it doesn't look correct when mounted and over time any detailing/painting peels in my experience)
Cons: May not be 100% accurate (but what model is? Some are close while others are way off!), plastic is very oily (intensive soap/degreaser bath needed to get primer/paint to adhere properly)
Overall, not an unpleasant build.
