What!!! I didn't know there was 1/6 scale tank kits. That's madness.

Great, what an immense size, very interesting. I'll stick to that.👍

It really has a massive size. When it's finished it's going to be a problem as it doesn't fit on the shelves, so you'll have to stay somewhere to collect dust.
My thanks for your encouragement!

Thank you very much for your support. All comments are very welcome, and help to encourage the work that is huge. Only the caterpillars i'm cleaning them about almost a month, and I don't think I'll be able to clean them, if you can call it cleaning, it's more like carving, in the next three weeks.
It's not that the kit is very detailed, it's more that the pieces are huge and in the case of the huge caterpillars. When I'm done with this and move on to assembling the superstructure, it's going to be another nightmare. Huge pieces that from what I've read don't fit very well, and the collage...
From there, the fun increases, as it will be necessary to cover the wheels and suspension, which are hollow, and make them rotate, which the kit did not foresee! Everything to keep the modeler entertained! But I think the worst must be the caterpillars.

Eeeeerm..I think you're going to need a bigger workbench!
You certainly have a lot more patience than I do. If only you could dial back your perfectionism, you may start to enjoy it.

Thanx for tour nice comment!
It's really going to be a problem when I start with the superstructure, but soon I'll see...
As for perfectionism, well its not a question of that, it's that since I started making kits, I've always had the habit of cleaning both the flash and the extraction marks as best as possible. I hate to see that later in the painting, and of course the human eye is the most perverse thing there is, and it will soon discover the flaws, but I like to work like that, besides the construction is the part I enjoy the most. Then I lose interest a little.
I already have about twenty or so with primer in several scales, which this winter I have to start finishing, this one is going to be at the same time as other jobs, but it's not easy... my youngest kid yesterday bought the Milenium Falcon from Fine molds... to give me... and Dad makes it for Christmas! Loool. Of course, if it's for next year's maybe... almost a thousand pieces that most of them can't be seen...

I have 2, one to do it online and another or a Wespe or a marder.... I see that you have a savage job, I really want to see how you progress

well let's say that I have something else in 1/6 than two panzer IIs.... what I don't have in that scale is a place to put the models

As I"m working in the Millennium Falcon this has been standing still. However, I made some axes for the caterpillars because the pins don't cover the entirety and I didn't like it, so it stays as it should be.
I also cleaned a bunch of pins from the flash, and mounted half of the tracks. The rest will take time because they are the ones with holes inside and have to be covered with putty.

Album info

Comparing a 1/35 pzII with the drive sprocket of this one...

I chose to start by taking care of the caterpillars, thinking it would be easier...bad decision!
In addition to the 4 pins of the support, it has 10 extraction points per link, plus flash, which in some cases is more like a storm than flash...
In other words, just to clean in minimally in a presentable way, it's about 45 minutes per link. Of course they are links and that is raw iron, but there are limits. I've seen videos on the net where not even the extraction points were cleaned, but I can't do it that way... So Like a boss cleaning mode will be!
Let the fun begin! Maybe 3 weeks of it... 😛
