Almost exactly the idea I have in mind for a project hopefully next year - just got Gecko's wheeled version skid loader and not planning to convert the HEMTT to the A4 version. Good luck with this project!

Thank you. Same for you. I'm still looking for options for the backhoe loader. I found a 3d A4 conversion online that I'm planning to use.

I think Trumpeter is supposed to release A4 HEMTTs soon(ish). They were in the latest catalog (a cargo and a tanker, not a tractor though).
Currently my main issue is getting the load chained-down properly. Need to find proper (and affordable) 1/35 modern chains and stretchers and find hooking points on the tractors and on the trailer so it looks reasonably believable.

I just uploaded some more pictures. Accurate Armour has some 1:35 tank transporter tie down items, but they are closing down. Maybe one day 3d printed modern tie down chains and hooks will become available.
