@bughunter - Done😅, thanks for the comment.
I've studied german for many years but this time there was a typo.
Yes - the project evolves, Will be some kind of metal look at the end, need to sort out some imperfections first. Gloss black is a challenge if you aim for mirror shine…

I would have never guessed this thing is made out of plastic... great job, magnificent "bibelot" 🙂 👍

Thanks Neil & Ethan for your comments.
Regarding the paintwork, started of with gloss black and then some chrome paint. Both plain rattle cans from the hard ware store.
The let the chrome paint cure for some days and just worked with my fingers tips and some cloths to get the oxidized and worn look.

Metallic look turned out great. It looks like a "pot metal" child's toy from the 1930s and I mean that in a good way!

Thanks Michael, John, Guy & Robert for your comments!
I'm happy with the outcome. Was some thinking on how to resurrect the kit in a intresting way also being able to test some ideas regarding paint work.
The initial S5 build was one of these were absolute everything went wrong in one way or another. Regardless my mojo came back on this build.😅
