Up to.the next Model.
1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
It will be Toxidblack with Burgundy interior. The interesting parts of this build is to convert the body a t-top and install a dual exhaust.
My brother will do the body, because it is the greatest part of it. I'll do the rest.
That's the way we go 😉

Ahh nice one Dominik I loved the late model SS350, very cool!
Are you building it stock or custom?

Today, I made a step forward to make the double exhaust. Looking good so far.

Exhaust is ready and painted - like the result.
Also the undercarriage is painted flat black after I worked for the space of the new pipes on the frame.
Last thing...filled the sidewalls with putty, sanded and painted primers I'm fine with it.
Now I have to order the burgundy paint for the interior.

Yeah that floorpan looks very good, exhaust efforts have paid off, looks very realistic.
One point of note, that GM 700R4 trans pan is absolutely spot on!

Thank you!
In the meantime, i completed chassis and engine. No fitting problems - so far I like that

Different Colors of red where delivered yesterday and so I started painting the interior.
To get the "burgundy" matched, I chooses redblack and red from Vallejo.
To make it look like leather (dashboard, upper parts of the doorpanels and rearsides from the seats) I chooses semigloss clear. I like the result.

Long time on hold - some steps forward.
Interior is done, i mounted the seatbelts to the front seats. Also i completed the interior.
In the meantime, decals are on and the final clear coat more than dry.
It is time for the marriage body with interior :-D

I totally forgot the finish from the Monte Carlo! Added the last parts on the body and it is ready for show.
