[Max Factory] Brave Reideen - WIP
The injection color is a solid color, but it breaks down nicely into the colors that need to be painted.
This is a fixed pose model, so it doesn't have many parts.
Many parts have shrunken surfaces.
I painted surfacer.
The yellow looked simple, so I painted an orange gradient on each end.
I painted the dark blue parts that I thought were most important with Tamiya's Racing Blue.
The arms are not segmented by color, so they need to be masked.
Masking the fold of the arm that is pulling the bowstring is a little tricky.

Now we need to paint red, so we masked and painted a white surfacer.
I used IPP's 'Italian Red 2'.
The head must be masked multiple times.
In the original design, this part color is light turquoise, but I used the Gaianots's 'Cyber Formula' paint.
I used a brush to refine the edges of the color.
Clear coat...
Painted two tones without masking.
Ready to assemble.
When I displayed it in a case, I added magnets to the soles of the feet to strengthen its grip on the floor.
I accidentally applied a lot of glue.
I lightly wiped it off, let it dry and sanded it down, then repainted the blade and restored the glossiness to the calf with compound.

Done.
Done.
Thanks for watching... 🙂

Album info
This kit is a fixed pose kit with no joints moving.
I didn't do any custom works, I just painted it while masking it by color 🙂
