That's a good man den. Personally I think every man should have one 🙂

The cheapest way to "travel" 🙂 close the door open a cold beer and do some model building and you walk out a new man 🙂

If you look trough the window, what direction do you see? Nort? South?
I assume you will put your bench under the window?

Well, the view ain't much to brag about Holger. it's basically a street and a bush that works as a dog toilet. but the plan is to have 3 workstations in a u shape around the window, Building, Paint, Photo. and then stash the kits against the wall by the door and throw in some shelfs to display the finished builds. originally i had plans for a couch and a tv to so i can watch some motorsport in my little cave, but im not sure it will fit. but i still have a long way, i still have the floor, paint and a new door to throw in before its time to decorate and unpack all the boxes with tools and paint. amazing how much stuff you collect under the years. and with lack of time i dont think it will be ready to use before marsh im afraid. but i will keep you updated mates 🙂

Certainly puts my man den to shame. I'll have to take some pics and upload them. Perhaps it could start a trend with everyone uploading pics of the environment they do there modelling in. Just a thought 🙂

Always fun to see what others are doing so please post 🙂 Thank you Stefan. the pictures on FB are the bedroom and parts of the hallway. and after this i will begin with the living room. then the fun will begin when it's time for the bathroom and the kitchen, i have some major work there to do. the only problem is that i only have a few hours after work to do all this so it ain't going fast.

Both yes and no. for some strange reason there was a different paint in the ceiling in that room than the rest of the house. so when i painted it it just cracked and fell down almost right away, so i had to scrape all the paint down again and order a special sealer that i just received 2 days ago. so i'm going to give it a go now in the weekend with the new paint. but other than that it ain't much work left. as soon as the ceiling is done theres "only" painting the walls, lay a floor and fit a new door and frame. but that i can do in a day or two. it's finding the time to do it that is hard 🙁 but i promise to keep you updated when there's some progress.

Parket monster, especially the dark one, is similar to the carpet one. In some cases it's even more dangerous... belive me, I have it in my place... brrr 😉

The monsters has moved in under the bed. they heard me screaming over some pe and simply run away 😉 but it seems that no matter what floor or colour you choose you always end up spending half your lifetime crawling around on it with a flashlight looking for runaway parts 🙂

The feeling of realization in the end (or accomplishment), is always extraordinarily good and motivating. Well done...

Thank you 🙂 The stag is actually a toy moose bought in London back in the 60? 70s by my grandpa. And the "trident" ? Well, it's all well hidden Maserati banner 🙂
