Johan, thanks for your comment. This is a difficult question. I wanted to try a very small project in scale 1/35 of the two Harley bikers from the Italeri kit. I started to build this Diorama to remember the 70th anniversary of Operation Overlord (D-Day). After a short time I realized that my target date to finish the project on 6th June 2014 wasn't realistic, I put the project on hold. After a while I reactivated the project but now I want to add the Willy's Jeep to the Diorama. The problem was, that I changed the original idea and I couldn't see the desired finished Diorama in my thoughts. So the project was getting bigger and bigger and became more and more complex. The Diorama base of the ruined Church was the last part and it was absolutely not planned to use it. I went to my favorite dealer but my desired kit was no longer on stock. I was very frustrated and search for an option. So I found the Diorama Base with the ruined Church. Overall to answer your question, it was a long, long way to build this and needed a lot of time.

Thanks for all the detail Marco. That's what our hobby is all about, one project changing into another and so on. But at the end it is well worth the time spent. Well done once again.
