It's a shame it's irreparable, it was looking so good. I've always been fascinated with huge Russian helicopters.

Beautiful paintjob! But the writing on the fuselage, the three "words" make absolutely no sense, just a random sequence of russian letters...in case that you want to use that on your 1:144 Mi-6 again😉

For the guys living in western Europe, in 2014 & 2016 I saw one as well in the Flugausstellung in Hermeskeil, Germany. flugausstellung.de/index.html I've got one photograph of it, I just don't know how to add it to a post. If you're interested, sent me a PM with your email adress.

@Martin: Probably you have to create an album and link it here in a post - at least this is how I used to do it. Many many thanks for the Flugausstellung info, didn't know about it. But now I'm gonna go there as I'll roam around Trier in June.

Great album – I can see you did quite a lot of work to improve the basic kit parts!

Julian, i guess you mean this one:
Тюмень АВИА Транс
Yeah, it looks kinda similar but then again it is not. It is difficult for a "non-cyrillic" person to distinguish the letters from a blurry photography. Is it really beyond repair after the crash?

Yes,,,, that very chopper . Saddly is beyond repair.Anyway as you can see , the model is quite "imaginative" and is not very accurate. I've bought a 1/144 kit from Eastern Express . If I can get some light about the lettering , may be this will be the deco chosen.

An old project that "crashed" beyond repair when moving to my new flat.
