Covers yellowed... 

 

Little spot lights are, just waiting for my jar of clear yellow to arrive.... 

Hey! I got the wipers on! Now for the TINY bits..... 

I am not looking forward to trying to affix the multibladed wiper on that windscreen.. 

Thought I was going to stroke the F out trying to get those damn headlight covers on. Elmers glue was NOT working and my wax pencil would not pick up the plastic pieces. Long story short: affix the headlights on the car, THEN affix the covers....not that they won't fall off later..... 

Getting those decals lined up correctly turned out WAY more challenging than anticipated. For whatever reason, Museum Collection found it necessary to make everything longer than it need to be, instead of them meeting at the engine cover. The upside was that they dont bleed through as badly as the kit decals ( yuck!).
Now I get to fill in the "gills" with Studio 27 white stripes. 

Drag this off the hiatus heap, see what can be done. I applied the Fujimi white boards then applied the MC boards over those to get rid of that horrid bleed through.....yuck! 

97% done. 2 little lights and a switch. And I believe the headlight covers have a yellow tint on them, so I have some clear yellow on the way.p 

Like a savage, I had to make my own mask for the windshield. I traced around the edge with a Sharpie then cut along that. It came out okay. Have to do until Fujimi bothers to make one of their own.....nudge, nudge.
