I just saw this while researching the Shunko decals, beautiful! 2 questions: what blue did you use and how did you manage to fill in that rear seam for that horrible front suspension "box"?

For the blue i used Zero Paints Blue similar to TS15, Zero Paints Yellow similar to TS16 and Zero Paints pure brilliant white. The gaps of the front suspension where filled with CA glue. Sanded smooth and filled again with 2k polyester filler.

I guess my question was, did you put the whole "box" in place with the arms sticking out then fill it, then mask it off and then paint it?

Thanks Steve 🙂. @bossy. No. I cutted the suspension arms in pieces and filled the holes in de back with some plastic card. Drilled holes in the middle and put brass pins in the arms.

Okay. I figured working around those arms would be a LOT of work. Tamiya really did a poor design with that and the first Benetton kit. I'll have to work this out.
