Prefer other spitfire kits, this one is a generic wing and must open up holes for canon spent rounds, and that is painfull, and the 2 mg ports, Id advise to glue wing together first then do that rather than when in halves as instructed. Its ok, simple, fun. Valejo old wood, or maybe new wood, then okls wash into grain with some drybrushing. Metal bands are german camouflage black brown.

Italeri kit straight out of the box. I still cant understand the instructions re the D-Day stripes.
