Thanks, it was a fun challenge on both FW12s....and there's a C version to be done as well....

Cleaned up the metal front wing to be painted black. But if this had been a 70's car, that's what the chrome wing would have looked like.

Wow...very nice, bossy....what did you use for paint?

That would be Tamiyas TS15 blue and TS16 yellow. There's another FW12 around here somewhere and that one got Tamiya X4 blue and X8 yellow. Problem is that the X paints wash off with Microsol, which is why this one got the rattle cans.

I have the Tamiya FW11 waiting in my stash and wanted to make sure I could find the right paint first. I can order them from the US but by the time the shipping is added and with the conversion to CDN$, it ends up being about $15.00 for a 1oz bottle. A little more than I wanted to pay.

If they're less than ____ paints, you never know what you'll get. I've seen stunning results from other modelers but I have had nothing but troubles with them....I think it may be an atmosphere problem, but I cannot get them go on without some issue. I have an 11 and a 11B in the stash and i'll use the 15 and 16 again.
