i like this old Revell kit. It isn't that bad as always told. High detailed Chassis (at some point tricky to connect) but overall well detailed and good fitting. The gullwing doors fit with some ligh reforming and sanding the pillars to fit perfect. They open - stay up - and close.
I built this to entry a "Cannonball run"-Community built on the modelcarsmagazin.
Paints i used "rimsilver" out of rattle can as Basic Color. After that, i brushed the Stripes and the "taubenblau". The Goal was, to take a ol racecar, overpainted and with stickers. On the undercarriage you can see the oversprayed silver.
At least, i took some weathering on rims and on the engine to give it an used look.
Changes are Racing seats and seatbelts, Racing steering Wheel and flocking the interior. Also i changes the exhaust similar to my 300SLR.
