"Scale-Water" with Grumman G44

I use this project for my first attempt of creating water for scalemodels. If the diorama looks good enough, I'll build another G44, that will look better and place it on the dirorama.

Thanks, I already made some progress, you can see it here: On my desk | Album by Razor
I forgot to add current pictures of it. Really like how the water came out. I'll upload one or two pictures of it soon. In my opinion, there's no better material then acrylic structure gel (glossy) for it.

Not yet, it dries out clear with a glossy surface. I applied a decent drybrushing with wite acrylic color and will maybe add a glossy clear coat when finished.

Added another picture showing the actual state. On this picture you can see that the acrylic gel is transparent.
