Now, I realize that it was the later mark Spitfires that tangled with the Swallows during the last year of WW II. But Revell decided to combine their early mark Spitfire with their Me 262 to make a sort of mid-'60's 'Dogfight Double' model set. The kit came bagged - no decals. It did have the instructions but the Spitfire was missing the prop & spinner, along with a couple of other minor parts. Fortunately, I did have a 1/72 Swallow decal sheet in the stash from a US Airfix kit (I think) and I was able to run across a cheap new Airfix partial sheet for the Spit on Ebay. Also from that site I was able to get a 3D 'conversion' set that had a prop & spinner for a very reasonable sum.
