The story behind this is remarkable. I can not take credit, I just repainted. This was scratch built by a very good friend well before the Trumpeter kit. In fact it was in the 80/90's when the only photos were a few grainy images. If I recall he used the DML T-7/80 as donors for parts. IF you look closely you will see he has done a remarkable job for accuracy given the few photos he had. He originally had that reloading system covered under a tarp, hiding all that great work. My friend builds 1:72 so after many years of not so quietly suggesting it would look better in my collection he graciously donated it. It got a repaint to match my collection and uncovered that reloading system to show off his work then added the figure. I never thought Trumpeter would do it and it was the only way I'd have this beast in my collection. Thanks mate.
