Bought these figures on a medieval-fair. Don't remember the brand?
The "golden" spur is a reference to the Battle of the Golden Spurs in 1302 at Kortrijk, Flanders, Belgium..
The diorama is not historicaly correct! It's mostly my imagination.
I did try to use the city -colours and -coat of arms from some of the participating cities at the battle. Some colours or coat of arms from the cities weren't in use at that time? They also didn't exactly fight side by side. There where the ones on the battlefield, and others besieged the casttle... Every city that was involved sent troops who had their own task in the battle. But that's the benefit of the freedom of being a modeller 😄
