The 152 mm Br-2 was the "gun"-part of the Soviet "Heavy Triplex" system incorporating heavy 152mm guns, 203mm howitzers and 280mm mortars on a common - and somewhat unusual - tracked carriage. Developed in the 1930s, only a small number of these powerful guns were manufactured before the start of WW2 (the 203mm Howitzer was much more common). Accordingly, service records of these guns are somewhat sketchy with one of the uses mentioned being in the Battle of Seelow Heights in April 1945.
This last setting will be the base for my diorama including ACE´s 1/72 Br-2 with some 3D printed figures from FC ModelTrend depicting an emplacment after the intitial action with one soldier resting while two others recap the engagement,
