Klingon Bird Of Prey

Whether you are a fan of Star Trek or not, the Klingon Bird of Prey is an awesome starship design. Built this over 25 years ago (The internet was barely a thing!) and thought I'd give her some light. Took first place in a local Hobby Town Model Contest for the Fantasy Category. I didn't own an airbrush at that time, so the model was painted and weathered by brush using Testors enamel and acryl paints (Acryl paints were also something fairly new at the time.). Bought a more recent boxing of this kit which offers more bell and whistles, such as more positions for the wings, landing gear, and a more sturdy stand. But overall this kit was truly a great build!
