Yak-3 OOB

The plastic & aftermarket (Traveler's) decals. I had received this as a bagged kit (no box). 

 

Prep for primer 

Parts primed 

I enclosed the kits open wheel wells with some tape and Perfect Plastic Putty 

The cockpit painted up - I added some masking tape seat belts 

I didn't have a decal, so I just painted the Instrument Panel flat black and scratch through the black paint to give something of an illusion of dials. 

The fuselage primed and the wheel wells painted. They didn't turn out too bad. 

This was my results after 48 hours. If if didn't have the airbrush problems I am confident I would have finished in time. I am just going to slow down a little bit & finish this up. Fun little build!
