I've got one of these too but it has a flaw in the canopy so I wrote to Airfix for a replacement but the replacement had the same flaw which is a molding defect that runs up the side of the big bit into the clear region ...

How does your canopy look like ?
is it ok ?

No idea at the moment, Choppa. It's currently a load bearing box in my stash tower!

Built one of these when I was about ten,it seemed huge.Will definitely be watching

Always wanted to build that one as a kid - staring hours at the Airfix catalogue; it always being out of reach. After xx years I was able to find one in the bay. As it was a boys dream, I have big plans for it ... so it most probable never will be built 😉

NorK, I was the same with the 1930 Bentley. I've got one in the stash now and I gather it's being re-released soon too.
