The resin engine with detailed nose. I added a slab of lead to prevent tail sitting. I positioned the engine between the two fuselage halves using Blu Tack, then drilled holes through the fuselage into the engine so I can position it precisely when the fuselage is glued shut.
I cut out the piece of the wing tip where the formation light would be, glued on a piece of transparant sprue, and sanded it down to become flush with the wing.
A light weight concept plane from Bell. The idea was to develop a light weight, low cost point interceptor using as little strategic material as possible. When it flew it became obvious the USA wouldn't run out of these materials, producing what they already did, and the project was shelved.
