Citroen 2CV 1/43 Heller OOB

Interior Tamiya XF-19 Sky grey. Seats Gunze H422 RLM82 which , as being semi-gloss , gives a nice sheen. Speedo was painted black , then covered with flta white and scrape to show black dials 

"handle" seats painted dark iron ... but not very convinced about the result. 

Body shell prep for painting.

Hubs in Vallejo Ivory 918 

 

Some weathering inside. Seat handles painted in Chrome silver Tamiya X-11. Front and rear bumber are painted in a sort of silver with a hibt of gold.

Front seat has been moved back as it interfered with the steering wheel which was painted dull aluminium Vallejo 77.717 . I noticed that front bumper is some kind of yellowish chreome silver. So I mixed that colour. Steering column was painted the same colour. 

And then I painted the floor rubber black , which is more real 

Seats handles were painted the very same yellowish chrome as the front bumper. 

 

Rear bumper was also painted in yellowish chrome. 

 

Semi-gloss coated but the roof. 

 

 

More work on the wheels 

Decals added 

Windshield cracked .... brrrrrrrrrrr ..... 

 

Front row of seats must be moved backwars just a bit ,,, if not , the seat will touch the steering wheel. 

 

 

Roof mat varnished. 

Details on X-11 Tamiya Chrome Silver. Bonnet strip done with a sliver of chrome decal. 

Front grill in Metallic Grey.  

 

 

Body and chassis glued together. 

And wheels also glued to the chassis. 

 

 

Finished. 

All in all ... 10 hours spent.
