Binzhou - PLAN Type 054A Frigate
A Memory to the Open Ship 2016 Event

Having a connection to a modelling subject is always a cool thing. Also I like modern ships. This combination of factors made Trumpeters 1/700 Type 054A-class frigate catch my eye. But where´s my connection to a Chinese ship? In fact, I had the chance get on board of a Type 054A vessel, namely the Binzhou (151), at the Kieler Woche Open Ship event in 2018.
So I have to have it in my collection, haven´t I?
As it has been said, I will use Trumpeter´s 1/700 Type 054 FF for the build. The basic kit is not bad, but I´ll spice it up a bit using Tetra Model´s PE set for the class.
