November 8, 2021Test fit of the painted rotor.32
November 8, 2021Rear Doors after applying decals, the blue ones around the windows were quite difficult to apply, I had to cut them in quarters to prevent the film from going over the windows, especially the curved ones. The "NOTARZT" decal was put from the inside, the decal sheet was overall very good and robust.33
November 8, 2021All decals applied on the airframe, coated with a semi-gloss varnish. Note that the doors are not painted luminous orange, they were pre-shaded with yellow to recreate the faded effect as seen on the real machines: the paint was very fragile and worn out very fast.34
November 8, 2021Front details. The original underside DF-Helostuff 3d-printed resin cable-cutter detached and disappeared, I had to scratch-build this one along with it's supports.
