Type 16 - WIP

Who can recognize Gundam parts?  

My solution for somewhat mirror finish from inside: chrome, than gloss water-based varnish and water based black. The problem is, that usually chrome can create a thin boundary film to hide it`s pigment and create shiny surface. In this case it can`t, but we don`t need perfect results.

The cracks are from SP glue I guess. 

These 2 builds were parallel actually  

 

 

Periscopes needed masks (the kit has masks you should cut yourself) and also something shiny. 

All masks done - side armour sealed. 

The smoke launchers can be installed in the end, but it`s a little tricky.

And now the most confusing part  

C516 and C517 are not great, not terrible, but C525..... I start to think it`s from WW2 set, not for modern JSDF. At least it wasn`t that bright in catalogue.
Anyway, with C516 you still need mixing, it doesn`t have enough blue and is quite gray.
